Sarin & Co. branched out into the field of aviation with the joining of Mr Nitin Sarin in 2008. It is the only law firm in India to provide complete aviation law services to banks, aircraft lessors, financial institutions, international airlines and Governments.

Since then, the aviation team (consisting of six lawyers and a head of operations) have handled over USD$ 16 billion worth of transactions and have also carried out some of the most complex aircraft repossessions in the country. In 2019, the firm successfully paved the way for the first deregistration and export of an aircraft under India’s new Cape Town Convention and Aircraft Protocol Regulations.
